Initially, submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by the journal’s editors to ensure compliance with the author guidelines and research ethics requirements. In the event of major editorial changes, the articles will be returned to the authors with appropriate suggestions.

The Gaudeamus editorial board has opted for a double-blind peer-review process.
Each article submitted for publication in the Gaudeamus journal will be evaluated by two reviewers, who are experts from academic institutions and specialists in the field or topic related to the article. Subsequently, the two reviewers will send the editorial board, via review forms, their suggestions regarding the necessary adjustments for the articles to receive approval for publication. The reviewers’ opinions regarding the scientific relevance of the submitted text and their recommendations regarding actual publication are decisive for both the journal’s editorial board and the authors. The two reviewers will evaluate the submitted text independently, and the names of the authors and reviewers are confidential.
