University album: Faculty of Letters at 60 years

Faculty of Letters, in her historic quality as founder of University of Oradea, is implied in institutional innovation process. Without losing from sight fundaments, on which was built this institution. At anniversary of 60 years of oradean philology. At anniversary of 60 years of oradean philology we continue our mission to keep and deepen those humanistic values. Without which no community can prosper, for example cooperation, and respect for tradition, for work discipline, but especially for excellence. Being the main promoters of dialogue and communication, we are equally obliged to listen carefully to the pulse of the new generations and find spaces of resonance and reciprocity. All deans from Faculty of Letters supported this vision.

Objectives for next years are concentrated on consolidation of our academic program, and on preparation of students for life. We will continue to offer teaching programs of high quality, which prepare our graduates for careers of success and for becoming leaders in their communities. In equal measure we propose ourselves implementation of an international strategy and rising of activity of research visibility, respectively of all faculty’s projects.

We encourage you, dear students, to imply yourselves in “Dialoguri filologice”, in projects of Faculty of Letters, because these are offering an opening towards professional perspectives of success, not only through the skills that are developed within these activities, but especially by entering into direct collaboration with our partners from the cultural and socio-economic environment. We also hope that we can provide you with models of collegiality and that you will come to support each other to learn and grow together.
