Graduates of master's degree programs have a number of opportunities on the labor market, being able to work as:
translators, teachers of language and literature at high school level (for philology graduates), editors, reporters, journalists, proofreaders, librarians, civil servants within European or national organizations.
Graduation from any of the four master's degree programs allows enrollment in a doctorate.

The master's program dedicated to communication in a professional context is aimed at all bachelor's degree graduates, from any field, who wish to improve their translation, communication and negotiation skills in English, French and German. It is also aimed at teachers in schools for German as a mother tongue. In its current form, the program is accredited as a professional master's degree, with a structure oriented towards practice and applied learning. Professional practice takes place within companies with which the Faculty of Letters has concluded agreements. The theoretical component focuses on deepening foreign language knowledge to an advanced level, the Faculty of Letters providing students with laboratories with special facilities for translation and communication activities.

The four-semester Master's degree in Romanian Literature - European Relevance has been operating within the faculty since the 2008-2009 academic year. The program aims to deepen the undergraduate studies within the specialization Romanian language and literature - a foreign language and literature. The master's degree program in this form is accredited as a research master's degree program.
The courses proposed within this master's degree aim at the following objectives:
completing and deepening the knowledge acquired during the undergraduate courses (the content of the master's courses does not overlap with that of the undergraduate courses);
covering the difference in level between the training of a middle school teacher and that of a high school teacher;
ensuring a level of training necessary for a possible continuation of doctoral studies.
This master's degree meets the requirements of graduates wishing to continue their studies in order to obtain a higher qualification or to focus further on research.

The Master's Degree in Types of Modernity in the Anglophone and Francophone World is organized at the Faculty of Letters starting from the academic year 2008-2009 and offers courses in the field of English and French literature.
This master's degree program aims to develop the following types of skills:
didactic: by transmitting specific and up-to-date information related to the dynamics of modern French and British literature; by evaluating aspects of modernism in art starting from established concepts such as art nouveau; by developing a positive attitude of understanding, accepting and promoting English or French literature from around the world;
research: by investigating aspects of cultural identity paradigms in representative creations for various cultural products in the fields of literature, fine arts and cinema;
attitudinal: by developing critical thinking and investigative behavior related to the specific discourses of the cultural spaces and eras studied.
