Since the academic year 2002-2003, our faculty has participated in the Erasmus student and teacher mobility program. We currently have 69 Erasmus agreements with universities in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Slovenia, Turkey, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom.

 

STUDY MOBILITY AND PLACEMENT - 2023-2024

Selection criteria:

Students who wish to apply for a scholarship must meet the following requirements:

- demonstrate good academic results and knowledge of French/German/English/Italian/Spanish, min. level B1/B2;

- submit to the faculty secretariat a file containing: a letter of intent and a CV (Europass format) written in the language of the chosen study program, a copy of the ID card, a passport-style photo;

- attend the interview with the Erasmus+ Selection Committee.

These criteria were approved by the Council of the Faculty of Letters in the meeting on 5.02.2024.

The selection of students usually takes place in March and September of each year.

TEACHING AND TRAINING MOBILITY CD AND CDA - 2023-2024

Selection criteria:

- submission of a letter of intent specifying the destination and the period in which the mobility is to take place;

- knowledge of an international language (depending on the requirements of the host institution) or the official language of the destination country;

- teaching and research activity carried out at the University of Oradea, according to the most recent self-assessment form: the minimum condition for CD being the value Ka=1. Starting with 01.01.2024, only CDs who have at least one ISI, ESCI or ERIH Plus indexed paper (or proof of acceptance in a volume/journal with ISI, ESCI or ERIH Plus indexing history) in the previous year will be selected. In the humanities, author's books or collective volumes, respectively chapters in collective volumes, critical editions or translations published in the last 3 years will also be taken into account.

- Associate teachers will be selected for a maximum of one mobility/year only if there are no requests from tenured teachers, provided that the above requirements are met.

Priority will be given to:

Academic staff who carry out administrative activities at the university/faculty/department level;

Academic staff who have scientific and didactic collaborations with the host institution;

Academic staff and teaching assistants (auxiliary teaching assistants) are involved in the internationalization process of the faculty/department/IOSUD;

Academic staff who do not report at the institutional level according to the requirements of the Ministry of Education or the structures subordinated to the Ministry of Education and have Ka<1 and a score of less than 4 on the teaching assistants' self-evaluation sheet will not be selected.

At the Faculty of Letters, the internationalization process will be quantified through the following indicators:

collaboration agreement of colleagues from abroad in the editorial teams/scientific board or as peer-reviewer of the journals of the Faculty of Letters;

collaboration agreement of colleagues from abroad in the scientific board or as peer-reviewer of the EUO collections coordinated by the Faculty of Letters;

of Erasmus Incoming students from the visited universities;

collaborations in order to organize joint projects and conferences;

of Erasmus+ agreements concluded;

other such collaborations, including those proposed by partners.

Upon arrival from a Staff Training mobility, CD and CDA from the Faculty of Letters will submit an activity report (RA) specifying which internationalization indicator they proposed in the letter of intent in the application file and which indicator was achieved upon arrival. The RA must be attached to the necessary evidence (where applicable). Activity reports will be submitted to the dean's office within 2 weeks of completing the mobility.
